Wedding Song!

I was asked to post my wedding song! It was down to these 3 finalists:

"Amazed" by Lonestar
"Have I Told You Lately" by Rod Stewart
"From This Moment On" by Shania Twain and Bryan White

After listening to all of them, Jeff really wanted "From This moment On" and when I really listened to the lyrics, that was the very best song for us! It makes me teary now when I listen to it because I imagine my future first dance with my husband at my wedding!

What did everyone else have as a first dance song, or what would you want?

We are torn b/w "You and Me" by Lifehouse, or "Always Be My Baby" by David Cook, but that one I just posted "Breathe" by Angels & Airwaves is cool too...but I do think the trend that we are leaning towards is a rock song. Ad for shoes, my mom wants to keep one tradition apparently intact lol - but my idea for the "shoes photo" was one of us in our formal shoes, and another with our cycling shoes, to keep with the cycling theme. Thanks for the dyeing tip!

I have no idea about a first dance song but I know that one day at my wedding "day before you" by rascal flatts will be the very last song played :)

The last song being played at my wedding will be "Your Song" by Elton John. he ends every concert with that song, and I want to end my wedding the same way! :)

That is so sweet. I love it. Our song was "Easy" (Faith No More version). My husband was a punk back then. ;)

Have a great weekend!

Ours is "do you love me" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Not very happy but it's our song. We are sooo weird...

"I found her on a night of fire and noise
Wild bells rang in a wild sky
I knew from that moment on
I'll love her till the day that I died
And I kissed away a thousand tears
My lady of the Various Sorrows
Some begged, some borowed, some stolen
Some kept safe for tomorrow
On and endless night, silver star spangled
The bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle

Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Like I love you?"
