The view of our parking lot this morning. Thank goodness the plows came a few times throughout the night!
Jeff cleaning off my car a few minutes ago. He's the best!
I hate snow unless it gives me a snow day. I am on vacation for 2 weeks, so I have no use for the snow right now. It completely ruined my and Jeff's plans to go into NYC last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. We didn't get nearly as much as the weather people said we would (big shock. The weather forecasters always screw up the snow forecasts in this area. Really cruel to do to teachers when school is in session!) Snow is also worthless to me on a weekend and I feel it ruins everything!
The number 1 reason I hate snow is because it's scary to drive in and can get really dangerous. I got a call from my mom maybe 30 minutes ago telling me one of my brothers (the one w/o the broken finger) got into a car accident on the street their house is on, literally 1 minute from the house! The road was crappily plowed and he slid and hit a tree. I cannot thank God enough that he is completely fine. The car is not, but who cares? That's what insurance is for and it could have been a lot worse. I am so thankful he was not hurt in any way! He's understandably shaken up, but that's the worst of it. Words cannot express my relief and gratitude. I couldn't handle it if anything happened to him or anyone else in my family.
Anyone else share my hatred for snow? I need to move somewhere warmer!

Ugh…I hate it too and I would be happy if I didn’t see again until next winter. That was nice of Jeff to clean off your car though ;) It really messed our plans up too and I was getting cabin fever by Sunday night. We tried to make the best of it.
I’m so sorry about your brother’s accident, but I’m glad that he is okay!
