Nervous!

I know this is totally normal, but I feel I need to write it anyway.

My wedding is in just about 2 months. I love Jeff to death and I am not at all nervous about making such a huge commitment to him. I know 1 million precent that I am doing the right thing by marrying him and I cannot wait to call him my husband and be his wife. However, seeing how close the wedding is getting is making me really nervous! I do not like being the center of attention as much as one might think, and I'm really nervous about everyone staring at me that day! Anyone else feel this way before their wedding?

I know the day will fly by and I won't even notice people watching me when I'm in the moment! I just need to relax!

Real Housewives of NYC

This episode was awesome because there was virtually no Ramona! Just the whole dermatologist thing, and honestly, I don't think Ramona looks sooooo great like she thinks she does! She doesn't have many wrinkles, but her eyes are insane and it makes her look nuts!

I think Alex and Simon took the high road by inviting Ramona and Mario to their housewarming. We all knew they wouldn't come, but at least the two of them can't say they weren't invited and cause a scene over that in the future. I think Simon needs to not care so much that they dislike him and his wife though. I did not like their renovation at all. I adore black and wear it constantly, but I wouldn't want that color on my walls! The black and red looked very gothic and weird to me. I prefer lighter, more neutral shades at my own house. They seemed thrilled about it though, so that's what matters. Between the two renovations we saw this season, I definitely like Jill's more (but I'm not a huge fan of hers either!)

I felt kind of bad for LuAnn when she was out with her nieces and Kelly and she was saying she gets to live vicariously through the single ladies because she is now single herself. Ironic. I found it kind of odd that Kelly invited her "friend" Max to drop by during a girl's night. She totally just wanted to show him off. I'll get to Kelly more later in this post, but I will say now that watching her flirt gives me secondhand embarrassment! She acts like a child all the time, but it's way worse when Max is around! I hate how she always repeats the words "hi" and "bye" and her baby, high-pitched tone makes me want to cry lol. Also, find a new adjective besides "amazing" to describe stuff!

I thought Jill handled herself well when Francios and Johan were running around like little crazy men in her store! I personally don't think a fabric store is the best place for kids that age to go and Alex and Simon clearly can afford a babysitter. I think the boys should have stayed home, and if my future kids ever act that way in a store and don't stop when asked, we're leaving the store and I'll come back without them another time. I know it could be editing, but it seems like Alex and Simon don't really discipline their kids and kind of reward them for bad behavior!

I love Bethenny and I think it's great that she can admit she's been engaged 3 times and that she doesn't try to hide her past. Her hairstylist is awesome, and the friend he set her up with is very attractive! I hope Bethenny is able to get everything she wants out of life, but it's definitely a lot to have a huge business, husband, and child. I don't know if she will be able to do all 3 at once, but I hope whatever happens for her works out. I really like her (I'm currently reading her book, and what she says makes a lot of sense! I don't know if I'd have the self control to practice what she preaches though!)

Jill always tries to be the peacemaker with her friends, so it wasn't shocking that round 2 of Bethenny vs. Kelly was at her house. I think that Bethenny handled herself amazingly well once again. It seems to me that Kelly is completely whacked out and doesn't realize she said a lot of that crap that spewed from her mouth last time she met with Bethenny. She kept interrupting Bethenny, treating her like a child, and talking over her, and whenever Bethenny made a point, Kelly was like, "I'm not going to indulge you in this, blah blah blah, stop, etc.." I would have lost my shit and I commend Bethenny for keeping her composure. I can't think of a single person who watches this show that likes Kelly. She is so fake and annoying! I really hope she doesn't come back next season, and I hope during the reunion they show the clip of her whole "I'm up here, you're down here" thing and make her explain that. Kelly is crazy and I really have no words for her.

I can't believe next week is the finale already! It makes me sad to know Jill and Bethenny have a fight, but I'm dying to know what it's about! I also can't wait for the reunion and then the start of RH of New Jersey! Should be full of drama!

WOO HOO!

I was stalking my registry as usual, and I noticed that someone bought the electric fondue set for us! I've been DYING to get this and I really hoped that someone would get it for us! I'm so happy! I can't wait for my shower this Saturday! Everything is getting so close! :D

Thank You For Being A Friend

I love the Golden Girls and watch it every evening from 5:00-7:00pm on WE. I was really sad when Estelle Getty (Sofia) passed away last July, and now I'm sad about the passing of Bea Arthur (Dorothy) today. It's amazing to think that there's only 2 Golden Girls alive now. I don't always realize that these women are getting pretty old (both Estelle and Bea were 85/86 when they passed). I still think of them as the energetic, relatively young (60's isn't old to me) women they were when they were on TV!

RIP Bea... you will be missed!

Wedding Day Clutch

I decided I needed a little bag to put my phone in (in case there's a problem before the ceremony), and I need somewhere to store my Cocoa Butter stick which I use as a lip balm. I'm obsessed with it!

This is what I got:
It's basically perfect with my dress, which also has a bow detail on it! I feel like they were made for each other! I'd post a pic, but I'm not taking any chances on Jeff seeing my dress (I don't think he reads this blog, but still. If you want to see my dress, I'd be happy t0 e-mail pics!)

My friend picked it up at David's Bridal for me today and she's giving it to me at my shower next Saturday!

Real Housewives of NYC

I love Halloween, so last night's episode made me want Halloween to get here!

I thought Alex and Simon were cute with their decorations and witch hats. They got into the holiday for their boys, and I liked seeing that. I think the logo Alex was working on for Bethenny looked great. She's talented!

LuAnn was more like-able this episode and it was nice to see her spend some quality time with her daughter. The show rarely shows her spending time with her kids, so I hope she does take the time out to be with them more than we see.

I loved both of Jill's Halloween costumes! I thought the Elle and Bruiser idea was great, and I loved her purple wig for the Marie Antoinette costume! I also loved Bethenny's costume and she's pretty good on roller skates! Alex made a good Sarah Palin.

I thought Ramona was ridiculous to be nervous by her own daughter, and I thought it was wrong for her to kick Avery out when she gave her mom some constructive criticism! Why ask her to be there in the first place if all you're gonna do is kick her out. You could tell Avery was a little miffed by that, especially since Ramona was all over her last season with the criticism when she was auditioning for an acting job, and then the producers told Avery that her mom's advice was wrong!

Saved the best (worst) for last. Kelly... I thought the little outfit she wore in her photo shoot was weird, and I think she has kind of an odd body. She's very toned and has nice legs, but she has no hips or butt, (very boyish figure) and her implants are horrific. Her boobs are so high up and separated too much! She has lots of money, she couldn't afford a better surgeon that could give her a more natural look? Also, when you host a party, I don't care how big, you don't make your guests pay for alcohol. A cash bar is just plain tacky. It's also terribly rude to not even be at your own party on time! Whenever she is late or does something wrong, she uses the "I have kids" excuse. All of the housewives with the exception of Bethenney, have kids and none of them are constantly late! I don't have kids of my own, but I've done enough babysitting and hanging out with my friend's kids to know that if you manage your time well and do your best, you can be on time or close to it usually. I understand that things pop up that are beyond control and sometimes that causes lateness, but Kelly is always late and always uses her kids as an excuse. I don't blame the other housewives for being mad! It's so rude to do that and show everyone that your time is more valuable than theirs! Also, Kelly said she didn't want to have a very inappropriate costume because she's a mom, yet she was a Playboy Bunny! Granted, I did the Playboy Bunny Halloween costume a few tears ago, but I was 22 and I have no kids! I would never wear a costume like that if I had 2 young kids to set an example for!

3. Having children someday
4. End of the school year
5. My bridal shower
6. Going to some Yankee games at the new stadium if they get their act together and stop sucking!

8. Fell asleep early

8 Things I Wish I Could Do:

1. Stop playing with my hair! I am constantly touching and twirling it!
2. Become a professional wedding planner. I think It would be cool, but I don't know if I could handle the stress!
3. I wish that I was more crafty.
4. Get over my fear of flying. This will never happen without my beloved Klonopin that I take before boarding an airplane.

4. America's Next Top Model
5. Any Real Housewives Series on the air
6. Millionaire Matchmaker
7. The Office
8. Golden Girls re-runs on WE!

I now tag anyone that wants to play!

I Can't Handle It Anymore

A freaking 22-4 loss? Are you freaking kidding me!? I think it's time for Chien Ming Wang to go to the minors! He sucks and the team is getting spanked when he pitches! 14 runs in not even 2 innings in unacceptable! I'm so angry! What are they doing?

Flower Petal Solution

I heard back from the florist, and she said the only issue with staining would be if I used reds, which I'm not. I haven't worked out all the details yet, but what I'm going to do is use the petals on the runner like I wanted, and buy more so people can throw them at us as we leave the Church. I just need to convince Jeff tat it's a beautiful idea because it costs a few hundred dollars more for the amount we need!

It's so nice outside today! Jeff and I are running to the bank to get a savings bond for our friend's son's baptism tomorrow, combining our bank accounts, and going to Target to pick up a few things that I need! I also plan on going to the gym and we might see a movie tonight!

I hope everyone else is having this gorgeous weather too!

Flower Petal Ridiculousness

I'm having a bit of an issue. I spoke to the church wedding coordinator (named Lisa) today to set up the rehearsal time (OMG!) and stuff, and she made a really good point about something I had wanted to do at the ceremony. I plan on having a white aisle runner from the limo place and then have light and medium pink rose petals sprinkled on the runner for my girls and I to walk down. Lisa pointed out that the guests would wind up walking on them and messing it all up before any of us in the bridal party took our walk down the aisle! Here are the options I've been given/thought of and issues that go along with each. Keep in mind that we paid for the rose petals already, so they need to be used somewhere:

  • Use ribbon at the very beginning of the aisle. I can tie it to the candelabras on both sides and then into a bow in the middle so it blocks the center aisle off as an entrance so no one can ruin my aisle before I go down it.
  • Use ribbon or tulle on the sides of the pews that are near my aisle so guests have to use side aisles to get to their seats. I worry it might look tacky or ugly though, particularly the tulle. We already have candelabra at the end of some of the pews.
  • Just use the white aisle runner. I kind of wanted something pretty on the ground, but Jeff pointed out that the rose petals might stain the train of my dress! Can that happen? Anyone know?
  • Put the real rose petals in cute baggies and have the guests throw them at us as we leave and get fake ones for the aisle. Jeff thinks the real rose petals being thrown will stain my dress, but I disagree. Which one of us is wrong? (I do plan on talking to the florist by the way)
  • Lisa said that since we don't have a flower girl, my MOH could sprinkle the rose petals down the aisle as she walks down. Jeff and I both say no freakin way in hell will that happen. I hate that idea more than anything.
If anyone has any other ideas or opinions on what I've come up with please share! I've already e-mailed my poor MOH in a frenzy! This is the most stressful thing so far, which is pretty damn good, but I just need to figure out what to do and buy whatever materials I need! I don't know if it comes off on this blog, but in general, I'm a pretty high strung and anxious person a lot of the time...

On another note, lots of RSVP cards have been coming in (mostly from my awesome friends) and I love getting them in the mail every day! I feel so popular! SO far every single one has been a yes! :D

Ummmm

What team loses their home opener at a brand spanking new stadium?

The Yankees. What. The. Hell.

NYC Housewives

Ok, this episode was seriously boring. I didn't pay as close attention as usual!

*I thought of more stuff, so this has been edited a bit!*

I think Kelly staged her "run through NYC." Her outfit was not really a running outfit, she had her hair down, and she was very prancey throughout the entire segment. Laaaame. It was nice of Jill to invite Kelly and her girls to the handbag designer, and I think the kids seem well behaved and enjoyed the day. I will say I like that Kelly addressed her daughter being silly with the bag and told her to stop it right away and didn't let her carry on. Alex and Simon let their kids get ridiculous and it was nice to see something different. Also, it was very inappropriate for Kelly and Max to have that pillow fight at Jill's store, and Kelly annoys me with her baby talk, saying AMAZING all the time, and the skipping! OMG stop! You're a grown woman with children!

I work in Greenwich, CT, so it was cool to see Bethenny come around here! If I had known she was coming, I would have went to the store and tried her food! I was surprised that all they showed was everyone telling her no to her cookies and muffins! Who turns down free food? If it's gross, just toss it! The stuff she makes is healthy too, so why not try it?

Simon is always very nice to Alex on her birthday, and this year was no different with the huge thing of flowers and the diamond earrings. I think it was a little ridiculous how mad he got over the driver taking a turn he didn't want him to take. If he was so worried about the surprise b-day celebration (which was partying at home with their sons) being ruined, why didn't he blindfold her like he did last year?

I thought Jill looked very pretty with her hair up and she looked fabulous in that blue dress! I'm not wild about her redecorating, but if she likes it, that's great. I don't think Zarin Fabrics is the best place for her dog to be all day! Kind of unprofessional, especially since Ginger was running all over the place and barking!

I think Ramona calling a Bethenny an "underdog" was mean. Bethenny has made herself quite a brand and she did it all herself. I also think her advice to Ramona to keep everything cohesive was good, but I don't know much about running a business. I also don't think her comments about Jill tearing everyone down are true. Jill seems very nice and willing to help everyone, and Bethenny herself says that Jill has been a huge help in her business. I think Ramona is stuck on herself and thinks she's better at everything than she is. Her blog this week over on Bratotv.com was ridiculous! All she did was brag about how smart she is and how much money she has!

LuAnn didn't really do much this week except pick her book cover. I liked the fuchsia much better than the gold, and I'm glad she went with that!

Also, I get really tired of all the advertising of websites and products on the housewives' blogs! Just write a damn recap and your thoughts and leave it at that!

I think that's all I have for this week!

Dancing Kitties!

This is adorable!

The Real Housewives NYC recap is coming later today! I found the episode pretty boring tho, so I'm not sure I have much to say...

The Registry & Not Following Directions

The Pyrex was delivered today, so we were able to see who didn't follow the registry. Of course, it was someone on Jeff's side, my family knows me too well and they know better than that, and the ones who don't ask my mom and she tells them :P

It was 2 cousins of Jeff's whom I've never met and won't meet till the wedding (I don't think they're coming to the shower. They live kind of far away). I really do appreciate the thought and the fact that they got a gift for us when they aren't coming to the shower. I already have their thank you cards written and ready to mail out tomorrow. The Pyrex will be returned next time we go to Bed Bath and Beyond, and the credit will go towards buying whatever we don't get off of the registry, so in the end, I don't have to pretend I like something I already have, they get a thank you card, and everyone is happy! :)

Easter Weekend

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter! I had a great day! :D

Before I recap my weekend, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the comments on my registry post. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way, and I agree with what all of you said. I stalk my registry many, many times a day (not just one like someone thought I did haha! I wish I had self control like that!), more stuff has been purchased, and everyone else so far has followed it! I am very grateful that someone was being thoughtful and trying to be creative and surprise us with their gift, but I wish they just followed what we asked for. I will definitely return their gift and get something else we need and it will be fine! :)

I had to work 1/2 day on Friday (I think we're one of the few schools that is open on Good Friday, which I don't get. More than half of the upper school was out, I couldn't teach anything that day!) Once I got home, Jeff and I headed to Pennsylvania to spend the weekend with his sister (who was coming from LI) his dad, and stepmom. We just hung out all night on Friday, had some delicious homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner, watched "Hancock" on DVD, (it was OK, nothing special) and played Rock Band, which Jeff brought from our house.

On Saturday, we woke up to lots and lots of rain, so we decided not to go out anywhere! We played some games, more Rock Band, and Jeff's stepmom and dad made an amazing dinner of grilled filet mignon, cheesy mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, crescent rolls, and salad! I ate a ton and was stuffed! Yum! We watched the move "Burn Before Reading." I've never heard of it, but Brad Pitt and George Clooney are in it. Has anyone seen this? It was beyond ridiculous to the point where it was just funny and not what I was expecting at all. I didn't mind it, but I wouldn't buy it or recommend it to a friend.

Today we went to a Church that Jeff's dad, who is a minister, has been preaching at from time to time, and he preached today. We were in the front row, and he announced to the congregation that his son, daughter, and son's fiancee were visiting today and he announced our wedding date! I turned BRIGHT red! I embarrass so easily! We got a lot of congratulations and requests to see my ring after the service! Everyone was very nice, but I thought the Church was really ugly (all cinderblock walls) and it was more traditional than I'm used to. When we go to Church in LI (the one we're getting married at) they play more traditional worship music, which I prefer. Jeff and I are currently trying to find a Church around here to start attending regularly, and we both like something a little more modern. I like the traditional songs and stuff around Christmas time, but that's about it! After Church, we went out for a delicious lunch and were stuffed silly! I was soooo bad on my diet this weekend! Jeff and I drove home later that afternoon, and I cleaned the house and unpacked while watching "Bridezillas." I'm all planned for work tomorrow thank goodness, and it felt good to get our house back in order! I'm going to go watch "Platinum Weddings" and go to sleep! I'm so tired!

What Do You Think?- Registries

I really don't want to sound ungrateful, so I really hope none of you take what I'm about to say in that way.

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond mainly for fine china, new tablecloths, napkins, some fun appliances (electric fondue set anyone?) that we wanted, etc. We've lived together for over a year at this point, so we have allllllllll the basics. We registered for stuff we want/need and I feel people should stick to the registry to ensure the money they're spending goes towards something the bride and groom really want/need.

I stalk my registry at least one a day, and as my shower gets closer, more stuff is getting bought, which is amazing and I'm very thankful for that. However, someone just bought us a bunch of glass baking stuff that was not on the registry, but shows up now since they bought it for us (it even says we didn't ask for it, but it was bought anyway). That would have been totally awesome if we didn't already have the exact same stuff they bought for us! There was a reason we didn't put it on the registry! It's a huuuuuge pet peeve of mine and it makes me so mad that people don't listen and I feel terrible that I will have to return someone's gift (and also pretend it's so great and we don't already have it when I open gifts at my shower)! I know they were trying to be thoughtful, and I appreciate whoever it was who did that, but people make a registry for a reason. If I wanted/needed all that baking stuff, I would have registered for it!

I hope that doesn't sound too mean or selfish, because I'm really not like that! I just needed to rant about that a little! I never stray from people's registries! I always either get a gift off of it or a gift card from the store they registered at!

11-2 Win!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU BOYS!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT WE ALL WANTED TO SEE! Thank you for not giving The Orioles a sweep! Kick some ass in KC and Tampa Bay! :D

On another note, all of our invitations have been sent out! It's a bit early, but whatever! I spent some time in the post office this afternoon putting 79 cents wort of stamps on all 58 envelopes (thank God most of my bridesmaids, my family, and Jeff's family were OK with hand delivered invites. Saved me some money!) I'm excited to start getting response cards soon! :D

Furious

I am SO furious at The Yankees right now that I can't even talk about it... WTF

Real Housewives New Jersey

I watched the sneek peek episode while on the treadmill and I found it to be VERY interesting! I hope I can keep all the names straight in this post!

First, I think all the kids either are or will be spoiled brats, especially the girls. Teresa is raising her 3 girls to be pagenty beauty queens. I can just see them in a few years. They will be just like their mom! She's obsessed with her small boobs and wants implants. I think she looks fine as she it, but to each her own. I just hope she doesn't influence her daughters too much. Dina's daughter seems like a brat, wanting the nanny to call her a queen or whatever she said. I don't like her already. Speaking of Dina, I read that she was on "Platinum Weddings." I love that show and I have a feeling I've seen her episode...

The way the girls all call their boobies "bubbies" amuses me! I also find it funny that 3 of them are all married to brothers, and 2 of them are sisters!

I don't really like the divorcee whose whining that if she doesn't get her divorce settlement that she and her daughters have no money and will lose the house. Here's a thought, get off your ass and find a job to support yourself and your girls! You may not have a huge mansion, but you could find a job that can get you and your girls a roof over your heads. Also, weird that she's 45, dating a 26 year old, and even funnier that Teresa said "blow job"(in reference to what the 26 year old uses her for) on TV and they allowed that to be on the air! Also, can we talk about how she's been engaged 19 times??? WTF!

I think I like Caroline so far. I don't think she takes shit from anyone. Her husband spoils her, but she seems like she has a good head on her shoulders.

The other one whose married to one of the brothers, but isn't a sister, didn't do much for me. I don't really have an impression of her either way.

Did anyone else watch? What did you think? Looks like a season with LOTS of drama! I can't wait for it to air in May! :D

Real Housewives NYC

I thought this episode was kind of boring, so I don't have much to say. Spoilers follow.

I'm glad Kelly decided to help Jill out with her charity by donating some big ticket items. I still cannot stand her, but I appreciate the fact that she decided to be nice and help a good cause. I haaaate watching her flirt with that Max guy. Gross...

I don't like LuAnn either, but I admire the fact that she does a lot of charity work, and I think it was great that she went to the Boys and Girls Club to talk to some of the girls. However, when you are running a discussion on self esteem and an overweight girl says that she wants to be a model, I don't think it's your place to tell the girl to lose some weight! She should have left it at, "You have a pretty face and nice hair." I felt it was sooo inappropriate for LuAnn to tell the girl that losing weight is "easy" when we all know it's a lot of hard work. She barely knows the girl and really should have kept that comment to herself in my opinion. That girl could always do plus sized modeling if she wanted to, and all LuAnn needed to do was be encouraging. I also felt a lot of the girls looked bored during her chat with them.

I think Jill would have won the tennis match if she had her pro partner. I loved Bethenney's idea to have Jill play with Simon and bug Ramona and Mario in the process. While Ramona didn't have the reaction we all hoped for, you could still tell she was beyond pissed off, and I thought the whole thing was amusing. It was a completely uneven match, so the win really shouldn't be a satisfying one to Mario and Ramona. Speaking of Mario, I used to like him, but he seems like a huge jerk now. I would never put up with my husband picking on my friends (not that my almost husband would ever do that!)

Jill's renovation... I liked the color of the blue walls and the criss cross design, and I thought the table settings were kind of pretty. I didn't like the "POP" table at all, and I did think the place was a bit busy. I think I liked the old style better!

I only got to watch the first few minutes of the New Jersey wives preview, but I have it DVRed (it was time for bed) and I will watch it today! From the few minutes I saw, this show should be VERY interesting....

Really?

Dear Yankees,

You lost 10-5 to the freakin Baltimore Orioles. Please get your shit together and not suck all season. I'm talking to you Sabathia. For all the money you're getting, you were terrible today...
Boys, please don't have another season where you get men on base and then can't get them all the way around to score runs!

Sincerely,

Melissa

Honeymoon Dining

I spent both of my free periods today (this one is almost over) making all the dining reservations for our Disney Honeymoon. You're allowed to book 90 days in advance, we check in July 5th, today was 90 days in advance (I thought yesterday was, but since May has 31 days I had to wait 1 more day). By doing this, we got exactly what we wanted, including some places we had been dying to try (Le Cellier and Cinderella's Royal Table) and never could because we waited too long to book!

Here's the schedule and links to each restaurant if anyone wants to see it!

7/5: Tony's Town Square- 2:35pm (We fly in this morning)
7/6: Cinderella's Royal Table Character Breakfast- 10:00am & Sweetheart Dinner- 6:05pm
7/7: Le Cellier Steakhouse- 8:40pm
7/8: Sci Fi Dine-In Theatre- 2:35pm (We also have a Couple's Massage booked on this day for 11:00am)
7/9: Yak and Yeti- 3:00pm
7/10: Teppan Edo- 6:30pm
7/11: Kona Cafe- 5:30pm
7/12: 9 Dragons- Noon (We fly home this evening)

We are staying here and getting our couple's massage at their spa. It's all getting so close and I'm very excited!!!!!! The past few days, we've had several things bought off the honeymoon registry as shower gifts! It's been so much fun getting those e-mails and seeing what everyone bought for us!

We're also sending out the invitations this week! Most of my bridesmaids came over on Saturday and helped me tie the ribbons and stuff the envelopes. We figured since we have the invites ready, and we're having a holiday weekend wedding, we might as well send them out sooner rather than later! Everything is coming so fast!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Opening Day!

I love baseball, and I'm soooooo glad it's back! I will be watching the game this afternoon and rooting on my Yankees! Hopefully they have a better season than last year!

RH NYC- Holy Drama!

Last night's episode was certainly entertaining! I couldn't believe all the drama!

Let's start with Bethenney and Kelly. That whole bar confrontation was ridiculous and made me dislike Kelly more than I already do, which is a lot! First, I don't think Bethenney said anything at the charity meeting that was such a huge deal to warrant a bar confrontation, but if Kelly was upset and wanted to talk, fine. The way she went about it was terrible. You do not arrange a meeting with someone and then come in 30 minutes late and tell them "too bad" when they call you on it. One of my biggest pet peeves is chronic lateness! It's so rude and shows people that you think your time is more valuable than theirs! I think Kelly acted like a child. She is NOT "up here" or better than anyone just because she was married to a famous photographer, is "famous" (I never heard of her before this show) and was a model (I personally find her unattractive and her boob job is horrendous). All she ever talks about is setting a good example for her girls, and then she goes and acts like an unclassy fool on national TV. She also is in trouble for punching her boyfriend in the face! Great example for your daughters Kelly. I love that Bethenney didn't sink to her level and act like a middle schooler. She was classy, had good comebacks, and kept her cool. I found it super lame that Kelly stormed off and then waited at the door to give Bethenney more crap! Soooo ridiculous! Even LuAnn, who I also cannot stand right now, thought Kelly was rude and an idiot and found the whole thing ridiculous and uncalled for, and you could see that in her response and facial expressions. She even said in her blog, if she were to choose sides, Bethenney would be the winner.  Also, I love pink and green as much as anybody, but did Kelly seriously wear what looked like pink rain boots with her green dress? I thought it was hideous!

I adore Jill, and love that she admitted that she wanted to fight with Mario, but I think he took it too far. I don't know why Mario is so hell bent on playing tennis with Jill or why Jill changing the date mattered sooooo much. Mario also had no right to insult Jill about her work or how much she does. It's none of his business and it doesn't affect him, so why does he care? I found the whole thing juvenile, and if my husband were ever that rude and mean to someone, especially a woman I was somewhat friendly with, I'd be upset with him. The fact that Jill's husband Bobby stepped in shows how out of line this was, because Bobby seems to stay out of Jill's drama as much as possible. I fell that Mario attacked Jill and it was just unacceptable. Meanwhile, I can't wait to see who her pro partner is next week and I hope they kick Mario and Ramona's butts!

Ramona needs to let the whole nude picture thing with Alex and Simon go. Honestly, if I took topless pics of myself (which I would NEVER, EVER do) and knew they were going to be published (I agree with Ramona that Alex and Simon knew damn well those pictures were going to print, especially since they didn't press charges after the "leak") I wouldn't tell someone I just met and was not close to that those pictures were going to be released and I know I'd be kind of shocked if someone I didn't know well shared that information with me. Who brings that up in conversation? It is none of her business how Simon and Alex live their lives, period. To drag this on and still hold  a grudge is stupid and childish. Ramona is not this pure, perfect, innocent woman, and she just needs to drop the whole thing and move on with her life. She doesn't have to like Alex and Simon, but she does have to see them since they're on a show together and have some mutual friends. She just needs to say hello, be cordial, and excuse herself from the conversation, and I hate to say it, but Kelly gave her that advice and it was good advice to follow.

Also, Real Housewives of New Jersey? I am soooo watching this! I think they need a Real Housewives of Connecticut! In Fairfield County there are plenty of housewives that would make for good TV! I know because I've lived there my entire life!

What about you girls? What did you think about last night's episode?

Jeff's Turn

I typically get up about 2 hours before Jeff during the week (lucky guy gets to sleep late!) I came in this morning to give him a kiss goodbye, and he told me he had a wedding nightmare! In his nightmare, our reception site was multiple levels, and no one, including me, was on the level Jeff was on and he couldn't find anyone! I guess all my wedding nightmares rubbed off on him! :p

Did anyone else's husband/fiance have wedding nightmares?

I have a post on RHNYC coming! I have lots to talk about!
