It's time for another post about baby products we love! As Landon gets older his needs change and I love sharing what works for us. I don't get compensated for these posts, I just want to help another mom out if I can.
We still love our Rainforest Jumperoo and Baby Einstein Discovery Center. The latter allows me to shower and keeps Landon entertained while I do that and get ready if he happens to be awake when all of that needs to get done. He also plays in it in the dining room while we eat dinner. We're moving away from our activity mat and really don't use it much now. Landon likes to roll all over the place and he has little interest in this now, but it definitely served it's purpose for several months. We also still like the Bumbo seat since Landon isn't sitting up on his own yet. He's so close, but not quite there.
Fisher Price Seahorse
This thing is great. It plays soft classical music for 5 minutes and its tummy lights up. Very soothing and Landon loves to cuddle with it at bedtime.
Baby Einstein Aquarium Soother
A family friend gave this to us at my baby shower. I had never really thought of using anything other than a mobile. The mobile that we registered for that matched the nursery bedding was cute, but played music for maybe a minute and it just wasn't doing the job. When I was trying to figure out different ways to get Landon to go to sleep without me having to nurse him or rock him to sleep, I pulled this out and gave it a shot. We LOVE this thing! I cannot praise it enough. It almost always gets Landon to sleep during naptime and bedtime. It lights up and either plays classical music or aquarium noises for 25 minutes. The sea creatures scroll by so it looks like they're swimming, and the music and light gradually gets softer until the machine shuts off. It also comes with a remote so you can turn it on or off without disturbing your baby. So, so awesome.
Homedics SS-3000 Soundspa Lullaby
The same family friend who gave us the soother gave us this. Clearly she knows about getting babies to sleep! This is basically a white noise machine, but it also project images on the ceiling if you want. We don't use that feature yet, but we love the white noise! There's several options such as a heartbeat, rain, lullabies, etc. We prefer the rain sound and L sleeps so much better with this. You could set it to play for a certain amount of time or let it go all night. Landon is like his parents in that he loves white noise all night long. Thank goodness this machine plugs in! It's also small and easy to travel with.
Graco Blossom Highchair
Now that Landon is eating solid foods, we have busted out the high chair. I love this chair so much! We got the pattern pictured, which is called Hathaway. It's a sturdy seat, and very easy to use and clean. I like that it has wheels and the tray is dishwasher safe.
Totseat Travel Fabric High Chair
A fellow mom introduced me to this. It's a portable fabric chair for babies. I love this because it will allow me to feed Landon anywhere! For Thanksgiving, we had to bring the Bumbo seat since my MIL doesn't have a high chair and it was a pain in the butt to feed him in that. This fits on pretty much any chair, comes with back support for open back chairs, and your baby is secure and you can do whatever you need to do. When you're done, you roll it up and put it in the diaper bag. Brilliant.
Munchkin Fun Ice Soothing Ring Teether
We've recently started the hell that is teething (yes, Landon has gotten a bit worse since my last post, but not too awful.) We have this in the purple and orange combination. I like this teether because it's easy for Landon to grab, it's pretty big, so there's plenty of places for him to chew on, and I can put it around my wrist if he doesn't want to use it and we're out somewhere.
Luvs Diapers
In the beginning I swore by Pampers Swaddlers. They're great diapers and I still love them a lot for a new baby. We used them from size 1 (birth) until size 3. The issue I had once we got into size 3's was that they were no longer Swaddlers, and they weren't holding in the poop and pee as well. Landon is sleeping longer stretches at night now, which means less diaper changes. I don't want to be changing his PJ's and sheets or sheet saver every night due to pee leakage. I was having that issue a lot with the Pampers Cruisers. Landon has also been making much bigger, nastier poops (thanks solid foods), and the Pampers just weren't holding it in. Jeff went onto a few forums and a lot of people there suggested Luvs for huge blow outs, so we decided to try them. No diaper is perfect, and we've had leaks and poop explosions with the Luvs too, but it's a lot less. They's thinner and seem so flimsy, but they can hold in A LOT of poop and pee. Landon slept a wonderful 8 hour stretch of sleep a few weeks ago and there was no pee leakage. I'm very impressed with these right now. Every baby is different and it amazes me how even with diapers diapers, what works for one baby is awful for another, but if you're looking to try a new diaper, these are great in my opinion.
Bright Starts Lots of Links
A friend of mine gave me these when I was still pregnant. Her sister has twins and said her girls loved these. It's amazing how something so simple can keep Landon entertained and happy. We have these everywhere and Landon just loves them! There's fun textures and colors, and I think they make Landon's gums feel better during teething as well.
Sheet Savers
With glorious longer stretches of sleep come fuller diapers that sometimes leak. These are awesome because they get leaked on and you don't have to change the crib sheet. If you've never changed a crib sheet, just know it's a huge pain in the butt, especially in the middle of the night. We have 3 of these that we rotate through. We've been lucky that Landon doesn't typically leak, but when he does, these are nice to have.
What baby products are you loving right now?

Love your things! :) We have the seahorse in blue and pink! And I have never seen that portable highchair thing-too cute. I want to say that we use the nighttime diapers for both...and we never have leaks anymore!!!! :) It is kind of a pain to buy them but you only use one a night and I think it is sooooo worth it. I think it is the Huggies Nighttime...just a little FYI for the future!
He is so cute and I can't believe he is getting so big. Time REALLY does fly!
