A friend of mine has a little side business and one of the things she does is create invitations, so I had her make these for us. I basically just told her the theme, party info, and gave her a few pics and she did the rest. I'm so happy with how these turned out!
I can't show you the back because it has my contact info and I don't know how to blur it out, but it was cute.
This was the kids' table. I used take-out boxes from Michaels for the favors and each one had a jungle animal hand puppet from Oriental Trading inside. Since there were a few older kids there, I bought some jungle animal stickers, also from Oriental Trading, for both the favor box labels and for the kids to use at the party. I also got crayons and printed out animal coloring pages. I'm glad I did this because the older kids took advantage and it was good for them to have something to do.
This was the food table before the 14 pizzas and salad came. The Dr. Seuss picture behind it wasn't for the party, but we did have it at a school, so there you go.
Close up of the food table. I made the silverware holders and the straw holder you'll see later out of soup cans, scrapbook paper, and ribbon.
This was the back room, where the actual party was held.
A close up of the centerpieces. I bought potted gerber daisies from Stop and Shop and sprinkled jungle animal confetti around them. I told people to take these home and they were all gone by the end of the party. There was a jungle animal centerpiece that I could have bought that went along with the plates and stuff, but I didn't really like it.
The cake table.
Landon's newborn - 11 month pictures on display.
Landon's highchair and birthday hat. I made the high chair decoration, but we bought everything else.
The soda, beer, water, and wine were on ice right off to the side of this. I love the fun orange polka-dot straws.
Landon's cake. We ordered a vanilla sheet cake with light whipped vanilla buttercream from Stop and Shop. Their cakes are actually really delicious. We ordered the same thing for Jeff's party last month and we've also had their cakes for our engagement party and my baby shower. They're always a hit!
This is the shirt I ordered for Landon from The Trendy Butterfly on Etsy. The seller was pleasant to work with and had the shirt done and shipped within 2 days. I highly recommend her! (Don't mind the messy room haha!)
Vendors:
* Plates, cups, napkins, confetti, pom-poms, table cloths, silverware, birthday banner, party hats, monkey balloon, and birthday cake candles were from Party City
* Balloons were from Blooming Babies Boutique and some of the orange ones are from Shop Sweet Lulu
* The orange polka-dot straws were from Shop Sweet Lulu
* Landon's awesome birthday hat was from Blooming Babies Boutique
Up next... the cake smash!

What a cute party! Landon looks like a little baby doll in his picture! :) I love where you had the party too, neat set up and room!
You are sooooo much more crafty than me! :) I don't know how you found the time!!
So cute I love it. Happy first Birthday Landon. I can't believe it's been a year. I wish you many more fun years to come. My little one is turning one in July.
So I came back and checked it out. I LOVE the polka dots and pom-poms in the primary colors. They look fantastic. What a difference the colors can make in using the same items. Fun!!
